Ann shows frequently in local exhibitions and is a member of Monotype Guild of New England, Newton Art Association, Zea Mays Printmaking, and New England Book Arts.
Artist Statement
I am a mixed media artist working mostly on paper. My work wanders among drawing, printmaking, collage, book arts, and sculpture, and I often take tools and methods from one medium and adapt them to another. I love improvised tools and improbable materials, always on the lookout for a result I haven’t seen before. It’s an intuitive, layered, and contemplative journey, each mark leading to the next. My purpose is to make connection with the viewer in mystery, hope, and wonder, always allowing for the possibility that something somewhere is helped and healed in the process
