F.A.Q.’s
I’m interested in Membership. How do I get the ball rolling?
That’s easy – just email us at shepherdmaudsleigh@gmail.com! We will schedule a time with you to come into our studio & meet with us (Liz, Rebekah, and Megan). We are happy to show you around our studio, explain our different membership options, and answer any other questions you have.
I’m a beginner, is membership for me?
Yes! You don’t need to be a pro to join our studio. Lots of folks come here as beginners.
On your first few days at the studio – we are happy to help orient you to our studio, give you tips and tricks, and demo certain processes. We also have Studio Shop Technicians who can be hired for more one-on-one sessions for a deep dive into a certain process.
Or maybe you’ve just taken a workshop (here, or at one of the many lovely art studios around Boston) and want to keep going on the process you learned or the project you started – we’d love to have you!
How do I purchase a membership?
All initial membership purchases must be made in person. Email us at shepherdmaudsleigh@gmail.com to schedule a time to come to the studio.
What does my first day as a studio member look like?
On your first day, will give you a studio tour and orientation – giving you all the information you need to get started! For hourly members, these orientations will not count towards your hours.
Membership payment can happen either before or on the first day of membership.
